ZemiLearn

Cookies and browser storage

ZemiLearn uses browser storage to keep the service working and, if you choose, remember your settings. This notice describes the current app. Last updated October 11, 2026.

Your choice

Keeps sign-in secure, protects unsaved editor work, and remembers your cookie choice. Always on when needed. Saves your primary language, light or dark theme, pinned Studio folders and where you last were on each lesson canvas between visits. If you turn this off, they still work during your visit.

Optional storage starts off. Accept optional, Reject optional, and Save my choices take effect for this browser. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer or the persistent control in Studio and the lesson editor/viewer. Rejecting optional storage does not prevent sign-in, purchases, learning, or editing.

We remember both accept and reject choices for up to 180 days; your browser can remove storage sooner. If the notice changes to introduce a new optional purpose or provider, we ask again. If browser storage is blocked, your choice applies in the current tab and may not survive closing or reloading it.

What is stored

Cookies are sent to the relevant server with requests. Local storage stays in this browser until you or your browser remove it; session storage lasts for a tab session. ZemiLearn does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Sign-in, payment, and lesson files

If you choose Google sign-in, you interact with Google. Purchases and membership management open Stripe-hosted pages. Those services handle their own storage under their notices: Google privacy and Stripe cookies. The app does not load Stripe.js across ordinary browsing pages.

Images and videos in lessons may load from our file storage provider or the source supplied by the lesson author. These content requests share connection information, such as an IP address, with that host. Cookie choices are not a switch for all network activity or for storage on a provider’s own website.

Changing or removing your choice

Use Cookie settings to reject optional storage at any time. This removes saved theme and pinned-folder settings on this site; the current page can keep using your in-memory choices. Other open tabs update too. We do not erase login cookies, lesson content, or draft recovery when you reject optional storage.

You can also clear site data using your browser. Clearing all site data can sign you out and delete unsaved recovery copies, so save your work first. An expired consent record or optional preference may remain physically stored while the site is closed; we stop using optional preferences after expiry and clear them when the app next checks.
